About the Event

Join us for a fully egalitarian Sunday morning service and tefillin workshop. We will have extra tefillin and teachers on hand, able to help first timers regardless of gender and explain the different Sephardi styles of laying. Following Shaḥarit we will be having a ḥamets filled brunch- please bring vegetarian food to share!

You are welcome whether it is your first Sephardi service or first egalitarian service. Our services are completely peer-led and we encourage everyone to lead a section of the morning. We need people for teaching different styles of tefillin wrapping and leading sections of the service. Please get in touch if you are at all interested and of course we have help available for first time leaders to learn different Sephardi tunes/nusaḥ. If you have any spare tefillin at home, please let us know and bring them along!
